I have been breeding and showing Bedlington Terriers for more than 25  years.  I have to date bred and owned more than 20 champions which has earned me the Bedlington Terrier Club of America's award of "Breeder of Distinction".   I am also a recipient of the Constance M.  Williemsen Humanitarian Award and a lifetime member of the Bedlington Terrier Club of America, Inc.

We strive to breed our Bedlington Terriers to the standard. Temperament, structure and health  are our first concerns and something we take very seriously.  All of our dogs are DNA tested for Copper Toxicosis using the CT marker or the CT Deletion test and at the present time we are in the  process of  obtaining all the required medical testing required for  CHIC  certification.  The purpose of CHIC is to test for known problems in a breed.

Here at Meadowsweet we are very proud of our dogs young and old, their accomplishments and longevity.    My kennel is state licensed and  climate controlled. The dogs each enjoy a romp in the kennel yard, playing on the agility equipment, or being taken for a morning walk by the lake.   Our future plans include enclosing an additional 2 acres for their enjoyment.  I do my art work here at my home and am able to give priority to their mental and physical well-being.

We  produce only 1 or 2 litters a year,  so we don't always have puppies,  but if you have any questions or would just like to talk about the breed we'd love to talk to you.  When we do have puppies available we place them with a neuter/spay agreement unless other arrangements have been made.  We care very deeply for the puppies we produce and any puppy produced by me will always have a place here,  should you be unable to keep it for any reason.
